New Savannah Main Street executive director announced

Lisa Adkins
Lisa Adkins is joining the Savannah Main Street organization as executive director.
The Savannah Main Street Board of Directors invites the public to come by and share a glass of sweet iced tea or lemonade to welcome Adkins in a reception on Thursday, June 14, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at SEEDCo, located in the back of Selah Coffee Shop, 409 Main St.
Adkins, who started the job on June 6, is a native west Tennessean. Some of her favorite childhood memories are camping with her family at TVA’s Pickwick Dam campground.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Union University, and has a background in management, sales, photography, marketing and journalism. She’s a fisherman, mother and proud grandmother.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my passion and enthusiasm for Hardin County to my new position,” said Adkins. “I love the people here. It’s the warmest and friendliest community I’ve ever seen.”
In her previous job, Adkins spent many hours a week on the road.
“Less driving time leaves more time for fishing,” said Adkins.
Welcome to Savannah. Hope you enjoy it.
Congratulations Lisa, they are fortunate to have you, and you will do them proud!! Be sure to tell them you’re also proud to be from Bolivar!!
