Former Hardin County Tiger and Major League Baseball pitcher Chad Harville agreed Wednesday morning to return to his alma mater as the head baseball coach of the Tigers.
“I’m very excited this morning to announce that Chad Harville has been recommended and approved to become our next head baseball coach at Hardin County High School,” said HCHS Athletic Director Wes Wilkerson.
“As many folks in the area know, Chad has had a tremendous career in baseball which included many years in the major leagues. We are very fortunate to have Chad join our coaching staff and wish him and the future teams the very best. Former Hardin County Tiger Cade Smith will also be joining this staff as an assistant coach.”
