Timothy Lee Williams was born in Selmer on Feb. 1, 1973, the son of Ernest and Anna Lou Benson Williams.
After graduating from high school, he began driving a truck, working in the logging industry.  It was the type of work he chose to do for his entire life. When he wasn’t on the roads or in the woods, Timothy enjoyed doing mechanic work and fishing, both hobbies he truly loved.
Timothy Lee Williams left this life on Wednesday, May 23, at the age of 45 years, 3 months and 22 days.
He is survived by his daughters Chevy Williams and Kenslee Williams, and his son Timothy E. Williams, his parents Ernest and Anna Williams, his sister Patricia Hill and his brothers Steven Williams and James Williams, and his grandmother Annie Fay Benson, all of Savannah.  Timothy also leaves his fiancé Crystal Rayburn and Mason Mowdy, a young man he thought of as a son.
Timothy was preceded in death by his brother Ernest Lynn Williams; his grandfathers Harold Benson and Atwelldean Williams; and his grandmother Marie Williams.
Services were held on Saturday, May 26, at 3 p.m., at White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Savannah with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial followed in White’s Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
