Carol Crunk (4-29-18) service 5-2-18

Carol Jane Crunk was born on March 19, 1963, in Hardin County, the third daughter of Richard Roy and Carolyn Jane Godwin Crunk. After graduation from Central High School in 1981, she graduated from Union University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in management and marketing. In 1985, she returned to Hardin County to work as a broker in her father’s real estate firm, Roy Crunk Real Estate, Inc. She was also a finance manager at Jones Motor Company and a manager at O’Charley’s in Memphis.
Carol was a member of Savannah Church of Christ, the Tennessee Board of Realtors, and Savannah Junior Auxillary. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family and friends, but the love of her life was her son, Nick.
On Sunday, April 29, at the age of 55, Carol Jane Crunk departed this life. She leaves her son, Nicholas Crunk Anderson; sisters, Sandra Crunk, Bonnie Crunk Young and husband Mike, Beth Crunk and Bo Burress; nieces, Katie (Arvie) Benson and Shelby (Jimmy Jr.) Caperton; nephew, Clay Young; great-nieces, Ava Beth Benson, Caroline Benson and Lily Caperton; great-nephew, Max Caperton; and her best friend for 50 years, Melinda Jones.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 2, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with David Baker officiating. Burial followed in  Memory Gardens at Savannah.
