James Bingham (2-23-18) service 2-25-18
James Edward Bingham, 78, of Savannah, died on Friday, Feb. 23.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Clarence Bingham and Evie Lou Smith Cummings. He was united in marriage to Nancy Casteel, who survives.
Mr. Bingham had served in the United States Army. He worked for the county as a waste management operator. He was a member of River Heights Pentecostal Church since 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bingham of Savannah; children, Tina Wicker and Steve Bingham, both of Morris Chapel, Brent Russom of Shiloh, Bryce Russom of Savannah, DeeAnn Lambert of Counce and Gail Roberts of Savannah; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Silas Cummings.
Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 25, at River Heights Pentecostal Church in Crump with Michael Gibbs, William Duke and Marshall Russom officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery.
