Hazel Flatt (2-19-18) service 2-21-18

Hazel Maness Flatt, 80, of Adamsville, died on Monday, Feb. 19, in Jackson, Tennessee.
She was born in Savannah,  the daughter of the late Willie Marvin Russom and Lou Euna Flatt Russom.  She was united in marriage to Franklin C. Flatt, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Flatt was a member of Spirit and Truth Church in Savannah.  She was a homemaker and often did sitting with the elderly in their homes. She also did babysitting.
She is survived by a son, Mark Maness of Adamsville; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Malone, Louella Young and Martha Huckabee; and three brothers, Edward Russom, Alton Russom and Alford Dee Russom.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Maness Newell and Judy Kay Jones;  two sons, Michael Lynn Maness and Charles Edward Maness; a stepson, Dwayne Flatt; a grandson; a sister, Dora Elizabeth Cruse; and two brothers, Willie Russom and Thomas Russom.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Danny Hicks and Keith Holloway officiating. Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery at Saltillo.
