Iva Jean Morris (2-12-18) service 2-15-18

Iva Jean Morris, age 87, of Savannah, was born Dec. 11, 1930, in Lutts, to the late Dona and Elmer McFall. She was raised by her grandmother, Linnie Beth McFall, whom she loved very much.
Jesus took her hand on Monday, Feb. 12.
On June 1, 1947, in Waterloo, Alabama, she married Roy Morris, who preceded her in death in 1998.
Survived by children, Joyce (Troy) Benson of Savannah, Steve Morris of Indiana, Patty Morris Pride of Savannah, son Charles Morris preceded her in death. Her grandchildren, Charlie (Shelly) Morris, Kimberly (William) Frazier, Pamela Morris, Michael Morris, Misty Morris, Steven Morris, Christopher Morris, Jeffery (Lynn) Pride, Kayla Roach, all of Indiana, Brant (Cheryl) Morris, Shelia (Bubba) May, Jamie (Kim) Benson, Jeannie (Donald) Bonee, Logan Jenkins, Dakota Jenkins, Dylan Pride, all of Savannah, Jennifer (Jack) Pride, who lived with her in Savannah, granddaughter Melinda White preceded her in death, surviving grandson-in-law, Ray White. Siblings, Eva May Hinton, Nina Faye Stricklin, Jacqueline Scott, Josephine Ford, Charles McFall, Larry McFall, Lloyd Holt, all survive, Russell McFall, Billy McFall, Teddy McFall, all preceded her in death. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ for more than 30 years, after moving here from South Bend, Indiana, having lived there for 35 years and raising her family there.
She was a strong lady, devoted to God and her faith, loved a good laugh, which she had many, loved her family and her church. She’ll be greatly missed, but her strength, love and memories will live on in our hearts. We will miss you forever, Mom.
Services are Thursday, Feb. 15. Arrangements by Shackelford’s, 925-4000.
