Willodean Franks (2-2-18) service 2-6-18

Willodean Franks, 70, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2.
Willodean was born Dec. 24, 1947, to the late Ross and Frances Adams in Collinwood.
Willodean was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She endlessly loved her family and gave unconditionally without regard for herself. She was the sweetest and most loving, giving person. She will be missed immensely by her family and friends.
She made a career of working as a cook for more than 20 years at John Young Jr. High School for the School City of Mishawaka.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe Franks Sr.; children, Joe (Kristen) Franks  Jr., Steven Franks, Melissa (Brad) Schneider; five grandchildren; sister, Brenda Marie Melson; brother, Jerry “Hoyt” Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by seven other siblings.
A private family service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka, Indiana. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery Mishawaka.
