Tony Turner (1-21-18) service 1-25-18

Tony Clark Turner, 71, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Jan. 21.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of Lois Gertrude Bonee Turner and the late J.E. Turner. He was united in marriage to Tammie Franks, who survives.
Mr. Turner had worked for Brown Shoe Company and retired from American Commercial Barge Lines (ACBL) after 41 years, where he been riverboat captain. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Tammie Turner of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Jeanne Turner, Lisa Kelley, Amanda Head and Anthony Turner; stepchildren, Todd Ozment, Rebekah Geisler and Caleb Ozment; mother, Lois Gertrude Bonee Turner; sister, Cathy Howard; nine grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Turner.
Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Tony Polk officiating. Burial followed in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery at Savannah.
