Jacob “Jake” Godwin (1-15-18) service 1-21-18

Jacob Lynn “Jake” Godwin, 29, of Savannah, died on Monday, Jan. 15.
He was born in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of Grady Lynn and Vonda Gay Godwin Johnson.  He was united in marriage to Danielle Yvonne Peay, who survives. 
He worked as a welder for Eagle Bend Manufacturing in Clinton, Tennessee. He was a member of Campground United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Grady Godwin and Randy and Vonda Gay Johnson; wife, Danielle Godwin of Savannah; a daughter, Bailey Leighann Godwin of Savannah; two sons, Caden Lynn Godwin and Andrew Lyndan Godwin, both of Savannah; three sisters, Amber Sullivan of Charlotte, Tennessee, Jessica Johnson of Jacksboro, Tennessee and Miranda Huddleston of Jacksboro, Tennessee; grandmother, Charlene Godwin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by by his grandparents, Grady P. Godwin, Dorothy Mae McClain Godwin and Baxter Godwin.
Services were held on Sunday, Jan. 21, at Campground United Methodist Church in Savannah with Carl Copeland and Murray Gordon officiating.
