Sue Tucker (1-10-18) service 1-13-18

Sue Qualls Tucker was born April 22, 1934, in Savannah, the daughter of the late Isaac Edward Qualls and Marwillie Gravett Qualls.
Sue departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 19 days.
Sue married Lowell Grady Tucker, on April 4, 1953. They were married 61 years when he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2014.
She was a hair dresser, working in several beauty salons before she retired. She loved to crochet and sew. One of her greatest loves was to play the piano. She taught music lessons at a young age. She was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church in Savannah since she was 12 years old. She loved to sing and play the piano in church. Sue loved God first, and she loved her grandchildren and her three great-grandsons dearly.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Tucker Ray and husband Ben Ray of Savannah; two granddaughters, Myshelle Ray of Savannah, and Shauna East and husband Jordan East of Corinth, Mississippi; three great-grandsons, Jacob Milam, Benjamin Milam and Levi East, all of Corinth, Mississippi.
In addition to her parents and husband, Grady, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jo Huebsch and Mary Edna Qualls; and one brother, Otis Clarence Qualls, all of Savannah.
Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m., at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah with Rev. Paul Hook officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
