Betty Lewis (12-8-17) service 12-10-17

Betty Lewis, 78, of Savannah, died on Friday, Dec. 8.
She was born in Prattville, Alabama, the daughter of the late Milton A. Merchant and Thelma Jeanette Ross Merchant Rogers. She was united in marriage to Joe Danny Lewis, who survives.
Mrs. Lewis attended Bible Baptist Church in Camden, Alabama, where she lived for 40 years before moving to Hardin County.
In addition to her husband Joe Lewis, she is survived by her daughters, Sherry Fuller of Thomasville, Alabama and Lisa Bishop of Savannah; sons, Dalton Wade Hunt of Plymouth, Indiana and Scott Hunt of New Hebron, Mississippii; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Bishop; son, Mark Hunt; sisters, Joyce Edwards and Gaynelle Hudgens; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.  
Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
