Vernon Hubanks (12-1-17) service 12-4-17

Vernon Hubanks, 78, of Adamsville, died on Friday, Dec. 1, in Adamsville.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Marcus Hubanks and Florence Davis Hubanks. He was united in marriage to Dottie Plunk Dancer, who survives.
Mr. Hubanks served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He attended Adamsville Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of the Domino Club. He retired from PCA in Counce.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie Hubanks of Adamsville; a stepson, Stacy Dancer of Adamsville; a half brother; a half sister; and extended family and host of friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half brother.
Services were held on Monday, Dec. 4, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Marcus Morrow officiating. Burial  followed in Adamsville Cemetery.
