Rita Sue Ritter (11-17-17) service 11-22-17

Rita Sue Ritter, 77, of Morris Chapel, died on Friday, Nov. 17, in Savannah.
She was born in Lawrence County, Tennessee, the daughter of the  late Grady and Inez Falls Lewis. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Stenson Ritter, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ritter worked for Brown Shoe Company, Walmart, and Garan Incorporated. She wrote a community article in The Courier for the Morris Chapel Community for many years.  She attended Morris Chapel Baptist Church and was an Eastern Star, a member of  the Adamsville Chapter.
She is survived by her son, Lynn Ritter of Adamsville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Tommy Lewis of Savannah.
Services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with Gene Hanna officiating. Burial followed in Morris Chapel Cemetery.
