Sarah Jewell, of Linden, Wisconsin, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 13.
She was born in Savannah to James and Hazel Keel White.  After her parents moved to Wisconsin, Sarah and her siblings would spend their summer vacations at the home of their grandparents, Homer and Ida White in the Nixon Community. As an adult, Sarah loved her vacations to Hardin County and visiting the many relatives in the area. Her greatest joy was her family in Wisconsin and Tennessee.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Eric in a 2003 car accident; and her brother, James White.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Paula Griffiths; a sister, Jeanette Schafer of Cobb, Wisconsin; brothers, Larry White of Platteville, Wisconsin; Earl White of Savannah; Ed White of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin and Sam Turner; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins in Savannah.
A Celebration of Sarah’s Life will be held at noon on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Linden United Methodist Church in Linden, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Linden United Methodist Church, Linden First Responders, Linden Historical Society or the Iowa County Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
