Funeral services for Kenneth Richard “Dick” Graves, 70, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, were held on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville, with burial in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
Dick passed away on Saturday, Nov. 11, in Jeffersonville. 
Dick was born on Jan. 8, 1947, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Samuel Otto Graves and Martha Graves Paynter. He was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling with his wife.  Dick enjoyed gardening, deep sea fishing and was an Indiana University sports fan. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sue Graves; a daughter, Sarah Murillo; two step-children, Timothy Fleace and his wife Barbara; Terri Byrd and her husband Dennis; a half-brother, Harry “Skip” Paynter; a half-sister, Lynn Paynter; and nine grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Breanna, Kaitlyn, Gabriella “Gabby” Matthew (Madeline), Hannah, Eli, Caitlyn (Chevy), Michael and Kelcie.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Association of Clark County, Indiana, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
