Lois Holley George (11-7-17)

Lois Holley George, 87, of Memphis, formerly of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
She was the daughter of the late Eddie and Mabel Smith George. She was united in marriage to Clifford A. Holley, who preceded her in death. Later she married Fonnie George, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. George worked as a beautician for 30 years. She was of Church of Christ belief.
She is survived by her son, Clifford Gary Holley of Savannah; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charolette Gail Gleaves; brothers, Austin George and Kenneth Lee George; and sisters, Mabel Louise Nixon and Gloria Jean Park.
