Mary “Peggy” Jerrolds (10-31-17) service 11-3-17

Mary Alice “Peggy” Jerrolds, of Olive Hill,  was born in Hardin County on Feb. 26, 1949, the daughter of the late Elmer Leon and Sally Pauline Broadway Morris.
On June 21, 1972, she was united in marriage to Jeffrey Eugene Jerrolds, who survives.
Mrs. Jerrolds was a homemaker and of Pentecostal belief.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. One of her biggest goals in life was to see all her children graduate high school and all six of her children did. She loved her home and family. Mrs. Jerrolds was a simple person who took life as it came, and always had a smile and loved to joke around. 
She departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 31, in Savannah, at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 5 days.
In addition to her husband of 45 years, Jeffrey Jerrolds, of Olive Hill, she is survived by her children, Vickie Ann Burks and her husband Richard of Savannah, Deborah Sue Jerrolds of Olive Hill, Patricia Kay Murphy of Savannah, Clinton Allen Jerrolds and his wife Donna Michelle of Savannah, Mary Diane Jerrolds of Olive Hill and Trina Mae Hooper and her husband William Christopher of Olive Hill; five grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole DeShazier, Jimbob DeShazier and Jolene Burks, all of Savannah, Jacob Hooper and Dalton Hooper, both of Olive Hill; one great-grandchild, Elora Monroe Octavia Boyd of Savannah; two brothers, Bill Morris and his wife Jean Morris of Crump and Don Morris of Savannah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Zavala; and four brothers, Leon “Nub” Morris, Vernon Morris, William Morris and Johnny Morris.
Services were held on Friday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with John Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Jerrolds Cemetery at Savannah.
