Anthony “Harv” Finley (10-13-17) service 10-18-17

Anthony Wayne “Harv” Finley, age 58, of Enville, died Friday morning Oct. 13, at his home at Enville.
He was born in Hardin County and grew up at Enville, the son of Wanda Jean Lott Finley and the late Clyde Wayne Finley.  He graduated from Chester County High School in 1977 and went to boat mechanic and repair school in Georgia.  He married Debbie Hughes in 1985.  They owned and operated Finley’s Prop Shop and Boat Repair at Enville.  He loved his family, his dog Sassy, fishing and going to the river.  He enjoyed his “toys” – boats, old cars and tractors.  He was a “wheeler dealer,” enjoying flea markets and yard sales.  He was a “cut-up” and loved being out on the farm.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Hughes Finley, mother, Wanda Lott Finley, brother, Jeff Finley and wife Lisa, all of Enville; and sister, Tammy Austin and husband Tim of Sardis.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Jo Hughes; sister-in-laws, Penny Middleton and husband Mike and Dana Brasfield; nieces and nephews, Casey Pratt (Brandon), Cameron Finley (Ashley), Whisper Middleton and Starr Middleton; and great-nephew Greyson Pratt.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Gene Hanna and Cameron Finley officiating. Burial followed at Milledgeville Cemetery.
