Gaylon Moore (9-5-17) service 9-7-17

Gaylon Moore, 68, of Michie, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, in his home.
He was born in Corinth, Mississippi, the son of the late William Aubrey Moore and Mary Belvia Hardin Moore.  He was united in marriage to Teresa Allen, who survives. 
Mr. Moore was a member of Stantonville Church of Christ.  He retired after 18 years as a laboratory supervisor with Kelly Foods.  He formerly worked for 15 years at Shiloh Foods and five years at Lowe’s in Savannah.
In addition to his wife Teresa  Moore of Michie, he is survived by two sons, Mark Lindsey Moore of Michie, Craigg Channing Moore of Michie; a daughter, Melody Gay Battles of Adamsville; and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Autrey Moore and William O’neal Moore.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Sept. 7, at  Liberty Cemetery in Michie with Randy Cook and Matt Cook officiating.  Memorials may be made to Stantonville Church of Christ.           Arrangements by Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer.
