Oscar E. Easley, 78, of Florence, Alabama, died on Wednesday, Aug. 23.
He was born in Hardin County, son of the late James and Cammie Easley.
Mr. Easley started working as a machinist at Reynolds in 1963. He was a knife salesman for more than 35 years. He was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ, Florence Lion’s Club and University of North Alabama Sportsman’s Club.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gresham Easley; daughters, Diane Ilardi and Susan Easley; one grandson; brothers, Robert and Jerry Easley; sisters, Joyce Tucker and Elizabeth Rubery; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; and a granddaughter.
Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 26, at Mars Hill Church of Christ with Chris Moran and Bill Bagents officiating. Burial followed in Greenview Memorial Park.
