James “Timmy” Waters, 54, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Savannah.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late James Porter and Robbie Sue Brashier Waters.
Mr. Waters worked as a towboat engineer for 30 years. He was a member of Savannah Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his two sisters, Regena Bazzetta of Peoria, Illinois and Delilah Beafore of Atlanta, Georgia; and three brothers, Terry, Greg and Donald Waters, all of Savannah.
Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Bob Pickett officiating. Burial followed in Waters Cemetery at Perry County, Tennessee.
