Barbara Vinson (8-13-17)

Barbara F. Vinson, 71, of Hardin County, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 13, in her home surrounded by her family.
Barbara was born on March 30, 1946, in Hardin County, to the late Gulmer and Artie Highland Benson. On June 21, 1967, in Lauderdale County, Alabama, she was married to Alton Vinson, who survives.
Barbara is survived by one daughter, Nora (Jeff) Swank of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Tiffany (Shawn) Brugh, Jerrid (Brooke) Arnold, Branden (Kalena) Arnold, Charity Swank, Ian (Angela) Swank, Hilary (Dave) Pratt, Jocelyn (Sean) DuPuis and J. David Marody. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Ally and Laylah; and two siblings, Betty (RL) Qualls and Curtis (Kathy) Benson.
Barbara was preceded in death by her three brothers, Benny, Rod and James Benson.
Barbara was a member of new Life Pentecostal Church of South Bend, Indiana.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, Indiana. Burial will take place in Walnut Grove at a later date.
