Mary Nell Jones (6-14-17) service 6-17-17

Mary Nell Jones, 74, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, June 14, at Hardin Medical Center following an extended illness. 
She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late Arthur and Edna Spite Jones. 
Mrs. Jones was retired from Angelica Corporation.
She is survived by a son, Gregory Jones of Savannah; a grandson; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Austin and Ann Austin, both of Savannah, Willow Dean Street and Tabatha J. Brown, both of South Bend, Indiana, and Gloria A. Whitehouse and Mary H. Pauspian, both of Mishawaka, Indiana; her brothers, Ricky Austin, David Austin, Don Austin, all of Savannah, Steven P. Spite and Jonathan D. Spite, both of Rochester, New York, Timothy D. Spite, of Mishawaka, and Paul F. Spite of Cookeville, Tennessee.
Preceding her in death are her parents; a granddaughter; a brother, Roger Austin; and a sister, Thelma Jean Shultz.
A memorial service to celebrate her life was held on Saturday, June 17, at Nixon First Pentecostal Church, 70 Mt. Zion Cemetery Loop, Savannah, with John Robinson officiating.
