Joyce Washburn (6-13-17) service 6-16-17

Joyce Washburn, 78, of Counce, died on Tuesday, June 13, in Adamsville.
She was born in Memphis, the daughter of the late Osburn N. and Bessie Louise Patterson Harris.
Ms. Washburn retired from Baptist Hospital in Memphis where she worked as a surgical technician. 
She is survived by her two children, Richard Smith of Counce and Joyce Weinman of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Osburn N. Harris Jr. of Galloway, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Services were held on Friday, June 16, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Ed Alexander officiating. Burial followed in Memphis Memory Gardens at Memphis.
