Joyce Devers (6-16-17) service 6-19-17

Joyce Ann Sherrill Devers, of Collinwood, was born Dec. 17, 1948, in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Lonzo and Bertha Lou Etta Franks Sherrill.
She departed this life on Friday, June 16, at her home in Collinwood, at the age of 68 years, 5 months, 30 days.
She was a member of Houston Baptist Church and retired from Hickory Hills Manufacturing in Clifton as a garment seamstress.
She is survived by daughter, Sheryl Devers; sons, Scott Devers and wife Kellie, Steven Devers and wife Susie; brother, Ricky Sherrill and wife Kim, all of Collinwood; five grandchildren, Daniel Devers, Andrew Devers, Brady Devers, Tyler Devers, Jacob Devers, and a great grandchild Kipp Devers.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Sherrill; and a sister, Shirley Murphy.
Services were Monday, June 19, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood with Daniel Holt and Jerry L. Robbins officiating. Burial followed in Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Andrew Devers, Tyler Devers, Brady Devers, Jacob Devers, Nick Sherrill and Greg Sherrill. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Devers, Kipp Devers, Chris Sherrill and T.J. Wilkins.
