Jim Dickerson (5-26-17) service 5-29-17

 James T. “Jim” Dickerson,  68, of Counce, died on Friday, May 26, at Jackson Madison County General in Jackson, Tennessee.
Mr. Dickerson was a retired steel worker for Tenaris Steel with 40 years of service. He was of Baptist Faith.
He is survived by a son,  Jimbo Dickerson of Michie; a daughter, Cissy Murphy of Savannah; five grandchildren; first wife and caretaker, Gwen Dickerson of Counce; a brother, O’Neil Dickerson of Counce; and a sister, Judy Turpin of Rockwood, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Mary Lou Dickerson; father, Ernest Dickerson; mother, Rachel Jenkins and husband Sanford; and sisters, Bonnie Russell and Sue Headrick.
Services were held on Monday, May 29, at New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Counce, with Paul Childers officiating. Burial was at White Sulphur Cemetery in Counce.
