Charlie Weddel (4-14-17) service 4-17-17

Charlie Weddel, 79, of Savannah, died on Friday, April 14.
He was born in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of the late Andrew Willis (Boots) and Anne Loretta Davis Weddel. He was united in marriage to Jeannette Faye Jones, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Weddel was self-employed as a dump truck and heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his step children, Jana Kaye Hubert of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Dianne Michelle Glissen of Olive Hill and Eddie Driskill of Guys, Tennessee; seven stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, April 17, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Chris Herrington officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
