Louie Abrams (4-4-17) service 4-9-17

Louie Hinkle Abrams, 91, of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, April 4.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Oscar and Bertha Abrams.  He was united in marriage to Jaye Lynn Harris, who survives.
Mr. Abrams served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He was a United Methodist minister during the 1950s and 1960s. He had worked for Palmer Tool as a supervisor for about 14 years and retired from TVA. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Shriner, Mason, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Jaye Lynn Abrams; daughter, Deborah Lynn Abrams; son, David Louis Abrams; and grandson, all of New Johnsonville, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a brother, Enlow Abrams; and sister, Annie Mae Franks.
Services were held on Sunday, April 9, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah  with Dr. Ed Britt officiating. Burial followed in Sunny Hill Cemetery at Savannah.
