Jane Hampton (4-2-17) service 4-5-17

Jane Carrell Yeiser Hampton, of Waynesboro, was born Oct. 15, 1944, in Columbia, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Edwin Ramsey and Emma Estoile Belew Yeiser. She married Terry Wayne Hampton on June 25, 1971.
Mrs. Hampton was a retired teacher with the Wayne County Board of Education, a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Waynesboro and a pianist, organist and vocalist. She was a member of SSHBEA, Tennessee Walking Horse Association and National Spotted Saddlehorse Association.
Mrs. Hampton departed this life Sunday, April 2, at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 5 months, 18 days.
Survivors, her husband, Terry Wayne Hampton of Waynesboro; sons, Edwin Wayne Hampton, wife, Melissa and John Guy Hampton, wife, Jennifer, all Waynesboro, Andy Yeiser Hampton, wife, Angela of Savannah, Charles Glenn Hampton, wife, Korie of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; a daughter, Carrell Yeiser Stovall, husband, George of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Nick and Ashley Taylor, Tristen, Chase, Hannah, Gracie, Hadleigh Kate and Harper Hampton, John Robert and Jane Carrell Stovall and soon to be Haley Jane Hampton; a sister, Rebecca Elizabeth Yeiser Williams of Jackson, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Yeiser.
Services were Wednesday, April 5, at 11 a.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, Waynesboro, with Craig Mason, Dr. Derek Westmoreland and Randy Isbell officiating. Burial followed at Philadelphia Cemetery, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers were Larry Haggard, Martin Haggard, Bobby Andrews, Mike Gower, Harry Floyd and Steve Koster.
