Donnie “Don” Weaver, 77, of Savannah, died on Sunday, March 12.
He was the son of the late David Hermon and Mary Florence Emmons Weaver. He was united in marriage to Nancy Ann Durbin, who survives.
Before working as a truck driver for Turnbo Trucking, Mr. Weaver worked at Shipper’s Choice, hauled logs for Donnie and Ronnie Durbin, and hauled lumber and crossties for Ingle’s Sawmill. He was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepdaughter, Deborah Williams; stepsons, Tim Franks, Terry Franks and Jimmy Franks; brothers, Jackie Weaver and Murrell Weaver; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Pipes.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 14, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Tim Carothers officiating. Burial  followed in Lebanon Cemetery at Michie.
