Paul Moore (2-9-17) service 2-12-17

Paul William Moore, 89, of Michie, died on Thursday, Feb. 9, in Corinth, Mississippi.
He was born in Michie, the son of the late Odus Odell and Lois Williams Moore.
Mr. Moore was a farmer and owner-operator of Moore’s Place for many years. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by three children, Nathan Moore, Dwight Moore and Regina Farris all of Michie; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Clayton of Corinth, Mississippi, Juanita “Tot” Taylor of Michie; and the mother of his children, Betty Moore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Kay Moore; two great-grandsons; three brothers, Travis Moore, J.R. “Bully” Moore, and an infant brother; and a sister, Marie Brown.
Services were on Sunday, Feb. 12, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Malcom George officiating. Burial  followed in Pebble Hill Cemetery at Michie. Online condolences can made be made at www.shackelfordfuneraldirectors.com.
