Ann Jennings (2-6-17) services 2-8-17

Ann Jennings, of Savannah, departed this life on Monday, Feb. 6, at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 14 days. 
She was born in Savannah on Feb. 23, 1934, the daughter of the late Elting and Agnes Williams Wilkes. On Aug. 5, 1956, she was united in marriage to Joe Dewitt Jennings, who survives.
Ann was a homemaker and a member of Savannah Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joe Dewitt Jennings of Savannah; sons, Gary Dewitt Jennings of Clifton and Joe Keith Jennings of Adamsville; grandchildren, Justin Jennings of Savannah, Corey Jennings of Ardmore, Alabama, and Brandi Jennings of Clifton; great-granddaughter, Alivia Jennings of Savannah; and brothers, Jimmy Wilkes of Savannah and Joe Wilkes of Humboldt, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Thompson; and twin brother, Edwin Fay Wilkes.
Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 1 p.m., at Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah with David Baker officiating. Burial followed in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery at Savannah.
