David White (2-4-17) service 2-11-17

David White was born on Sept. 26, 1940, the son of the late Homer and Edra Venice Lane White. On Oct. 8, 1960, he was united in marriage to Nancy Jane Bingham. David departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 4, at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 9 days.
David was raised in the Hookers Bend community. Before his 25 years at PCA, he was employed at Kimberly-Clark in Memphis for seven years and Decaturville Sportswear for two years. David loved to fish, travel and garden. He was a hard-worker that was devoted to his family and wanted the best for everyone.
Along with his wife Nancy of 56 years, David is survived by his sons, Eddie White and wife Lana of Adamsville,  Kevin White and wife Angela of Michie, Greg White of Savannah, Shawn White and wife Wanda of Savannah and Seth White of Savannah; grandchildren, Natalie Aven and husband Bryan, Nicole Cotner and husband Wes, Casey White, Kody White, Joshua White, Kaitlyn Taylor and husband Rhea, Stephen White, Bethanie Cart and Kelsea Cart; great-grandchildren, Presley Cotner, Bane Cotner, and Finn Cotner, Emma White, Kyra Sparks and Mikaila Aven.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his infant son, Joshua White; and his daughter-in-law, Patti White. 
Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Barry Binion, Albert Bromley and Howard Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
