Jeffrey Hurst (1-15-17) service 1-18-17

Jeffrey Paul Hurst, of Savannah, was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Wayne County, the son of the late James Elijah and Mary Elizabeth Mitchell Hurst.
Mr. Hurst was an eye glass technician and departed this life Sunday, Jan. 15, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 65 years, 2 months, 16 days.
He is survived by four nieces and one nephew and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
 In addition to his parents, Mr. Hurst was preceded in death by brothers, James (Tony) Hurst, Ray Hurst and Kenneth Hurst.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, with Tommy Burke officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
