Tony Lee Collins, of Savannah, was born on Jan. 28, 1969, the son of Charles and the late Betty Gail Collins. He left this earth on Sunday, Jan. 15, at the age of 47 years, 11 months and 18 days.
Tony served in the United States Army. After his service, he worked as a load operator at American Hardwood. Tony was a devoted father and a hard-working man. He loved his children and his country with all his heart and soul.
Along with his father, Tony is survived by his daughters, Chelsi Collins of Defiance, Ohio and Shantel Collins of Paulding, Ohio; sons, Tristan Collins of Nashville, Mason Collins of Michie and Payden Collins of Adamsville; step-children, Keoni of Nashville, and Mika and David of Michie; brothers, Keith Vernon Collins, Charles Allan Collins and Jason Dale Collins, all of Savannah; a grandmother, Edna Lockard; and grandchildren, Trinity, Jonah, Leanna, Bailey and Nirvana.
Services were held on Friday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Danny Hicks officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
