Jack Simmons (1-21-17) service 1-25-17

Jack Hoover Simmons, 88, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Jan. 21, in Nashville.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Oscar and Ollie Bryant Simmons. He was united in marriage to Mackie Nell Bain, who survives.
Mr. Simmons was a self employed contractor. He was a member of Olive Hill Baptist Church. 
In addition to his wife Mackie, he is survived by his children, Jacklyn Bradley of Ravenden, Arkansas, Jimmie Milgrim of Olive Hill,  Brenda Nguyen  of Jackson, Tennessee, Eddie Joe Simmons of Savannah and Lonnie Simmons of Jackson, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Billy Simmons of Olive Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Hughie Simmons, W.K. Simmons, James Simmons and Joe Simmons; and two sisters, Myrtle Dowdy and Evelyn Bowling.
Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Kyle Winsert and Michael Bradley officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
