Sonja Finck Shultz, 59, of Morris Chapel, died Friday, Jan. 6.
She was born Feb. 13, 1958, to Edward and Marian Finck along with her identical twin Sondra who survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Zelda Berry and Sharon Weber.
Sonja is survived by five sisters and one brother, Zephneria Carlin, Jane Lee, Shirley (James) Fetsch, Susan (William) Wessner, Sondra (Donnie) Mccammon and Ed (Joan) Finck.
On Nov. 6, 1976, she married her high school sweetheart William (Toby) Shultz and they just celebrated 40 years of marriage. They have three children who survive Amy Marie Wesson (Glenn), William II (Bubba) Shultz and Jeremiah Bradley Shultz. All reside in Morris Chapel Tennessee. She has one grandson Zander, 11, who was the light of her life.
Sonja recently retired from Hardin Medical Center after 23 years of employment.
Sonja was a very soft spoken sweet spirited lady who would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with her grandson, riding her motorcycle, swimming in her pool, and eating ice cream and chocolate. Sonja loved and collected eagles and motorcycles.
She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Jan. 9, at Love and Truth Church in Savannah.
