Melvin Wilson (1-6-17) service 1-13-17

Melvin Milton Wilson, 68, of Counce, died on Friday, Jan. 6.
He was born in McCracken County, Kentucky, the son of the late Ira P. Wilson and Lillie Mae Edmonds Wilson.
He served in the U.S. Army, enlisting for two tours in Vietnam. He worked at Kimberly-Clark for more than 21 years until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wilson of Counce; one daughter, Michelle Wilson Graves of Antioch, Tennessee; five sisters, Linda Sue Bonds, Lettie Wilson, Shelia Wilson and Millie Baker, all of Paducah, Kentucky, and Marsha Faye Davis of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and one grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ira E. Wilson and James Henry Wilson; and two sisters, Margaret Settle and Cheryl Wilson.
Services will include visitation on Thursday, Jan. 12, at Patterson Memorial Chapel in Corinth, Mississippi, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Graveside memorial service and burial will be on Friday, Jan. 13, at noon, at Corinth National Cemetery with Will Luster officiating.
