Reba Young Neill was born in Savannah on Aug. 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Leonard and Lillie Young.
On Feb. 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to Billy Rogers Neill, who preceded his wife in death on June 21, 2014.
Mrs. Neill worked for Brown Shoe Company and also had worked for Hardin County Middle School Food Service. She was a member of Campground Methodist Church. Mrs. Neill loved antiques, collectibles and her family. She loved to laugh, eat and have her family near. Mrs. Neill loved her little dogs, Pixie and Trixie.
She departed this life on Saturday, Dec. 31, in Savannah, at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 24 days.
Mrs. Neill is survived by her two daughters, Marion Neill Coker and her husband Larry of Jackson, Tennessee and Tammy Neill Boyd and her husband Jeff of Savannah; one sister, Debra Young Northcutt and her husband Butch of Savannah; four grandchildren, Star Schaaf and her husband Chuck of Batesville, Arkansas, Allen Coker of Nashville, Ike Boyd and his wife Megan of Savannah and Allie Boyd of Savannah; three great-grandchildren, Mason Schaaf and Izzy Schaaf, both of Batesville, Arkansas and Ava Lillie Boyd of Savannah.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Chastity Coker; one sister, Emily Young Reynolds and her husband JR; and one brother, Floyd Ancil Young and his wife Ann.
Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m., at Campground United Methodist Church in Savannah with John Pennington officiating. Burial followed in Campground Cemetery at Savannah.
