Phillip Austin (12-17-16)

Phillip Ray Austin, 43, of Liberty, North Carolina, died on Saturday, Dec. 17, at Moses Cone Hospital.
He was born at Sturgis, Michigan, son of Willie Ray Austin and Elva Dicus Weirich. 
Mr. Austin had been employed as a tree trimmer.
Survivors include his mother, Elva Weirich Dicus and step-father Ricky Dicus of Clifton; daughter, Hannah Ingle of Whittset, North Carolina; brother, C. Auther Middleton Jr. of Olive Hill; sisters, Teresa Ervin and Beverly Perry, both of Clifton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Ray Austin.
