Winford Harris (12-9-16) service 12-12-16

Winford E. Harris, 81, of Savannah, died on Friday, Dec. 9.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Raymond Garland and Iva Droke Harris. He was united in marriage to Sue McCasland, who survives.
Mr. Harris was an avid woodworker and a member of Savannah Church of Christ. He previously worked for City of Savannah Utilities before working for approximately 35 years as a funeral director for Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Harris of Savannah; two sons, Stan Harris and John Harris, both of Savannah; and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Harris and Weldon Harris.
Services were held on Monday, Dec. 12, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Barry Binion, Howard Rogers and Robert Shackelford officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
