Louise Milender (11-7-16) service 11-10-16

Louise Webb Milender departed this life on Monday, Nov. 7, at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 28 days.
She was born in Hardin County on Jan. 10, 1932, the daughter of the late Everett and Daisy May Counce Webb.
On June 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to John Emerson Milender Sr. With John being enlisted in the Army they lived in several places such as Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Frankfurt, Germany, and Ft. Hood, Texas. He was killed in Vietnam on Jan. 28, 1966.  In 1967 Louise moved her family to Savannah. She was a server at Hagy’s Catfish Hotel in Shiloh.
Louise loved being with family and friends, and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed sharing her buckeyes from her cherished tree given to her by her brother, John.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Coughlin of Savannah, Mary Beth Jeter and husband Holly of Columbus, Mississippi, Patty Martin and husband Ricky of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee, and Johnny Milender and wife Janie of Savannah; grandchildren, Mindi Grassman and husband Brent of Power, Montana, John E. Milender III of Savannah, William T. Coughlin III of Savannah, John Emerson Coughlin of San Diego, California, Justin Hanna of Savannah, LeAnn Gordon and husband Daniel of Savannah, Olivia Plant and Gracie Plant both of Columbus, Mississippi; a special grandchild, Romona Casteel; great-grandchildren, Paige, Ryder and Reid Grassman, all of Power, Montana, Hadley and Hulen Gordon, both of Savannah; sisters, June Hunter and husband Mike of Mississippi and Babe Vanderford of Corinth, Mississippi.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Spencer; brothers, Henry, John, Fred and Bob Webb; and a son-in-law, Bruce Hulen.
Services were held on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Keith Holloway and Mike Hunter officiating. Burial  followed in Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh.
