Richard Kaleida (10-30-16) service 11-5-16

Richard Charles Kaleida, 71, of Clifton, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 30.
He was born on Aug. 19, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Mildred Marie Wolfram Kaleida and Herman Charles Kaleida.
During his life he completed studies in aeronautics at Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, LaSalle University business, Liberty University business and Emory University Candler School of Theology BA.
He had careers at Boeing Aircraft Corporation, an insurance business with Aid Association for Lutheran, owner of Golden Corral restaurant and owner of RST Motors used car dealership. It was during this time as owner of RST Motors he received his call into ministry. He was a pastor with the United Methodist church and served in the Florida Conference where he received the Denman Award and Grand Himes Award while serving in his first churches. Richard also served in the Tennessee Conference. Richard was a United Methodist evangelist. He was also ordained with Kingsway Fellowship International, a non-denominational ministry. He retired from the local church in 2006 due to health problems.
He was married to Sueann Ritenour on Sept. 9, 1966, who survives. They had two children, Timothy Charles Kaleida and the late Sherri Lynn Kaleida.
Also preceding him in death were his parents; and two sisters, Carol Marie Kaleida and Marion Mildred Johnson.
Richard is survived by his son, Timothy Charles Kaleida of Belleview, Florida; brother, Robert David Kaleida and wife Ferebee of Dunwoody, Georgia, granddaughter, Aimee Lynn Kaleida; great-granddaughter, Kyla Ann Lynn Feliciano, both of Belleview, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service in Belleview, Florida with Rev. Robert Sadler presiding. Viewing will begin at 1 p.m. and service will be at 2 p.m.
