Paul Colbert (10-25-16) service 10-27-16

Paul Gwinn Colbert, 82, of Sardis, died on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Colbert was a retired salesman, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of Scotts Hill Baptist Church and had worked extensively with Meals on Wheels program.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Colbert of Sardis; a son, Ken Colbert of New Albany, Mississippi, two stepsons, Joel Pipkin Jr. of Scotts Hill and Jason Pipkin of Olive Branch, Mississippi; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.T. and Reba Colbert; and an infant brother.
Services were held at Reed’s Chapel, Scotts Hill, on Thursday, Oct. 27, with Tim Baffaloe officiating. Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery with military honors.
