Joyce Casteel (10-25-16) service 10-26-16

Joyce Franks Casteel, of Savannah, departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 16 days. 
She was born in Savannah on Nov. 19, 1954, the daughter of the late Ed and Annie Hurley Franks. On April 11, 1970, she was united in marriage to Dwight D. Casteel, who preceded her in death on April 10, 2014.
Joyce had worked at Angelica as a seamstress. She loved flowers and tending to them.
She is survived by her children, Angie Reaves and husband Jon of Selmer, Bridget Harrison and husband Joe of Savannah and Brandon Casteel and wife Andrea of Savannah; grandchildren, Brandi Shipman, Buck Plunk, Tabitha Plunk, Karly Jo Casteel and Jacob Casteel.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Trae Harrison; a brother, Enus Franks; and sisters, Evelyn Smith and Edith Moser.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at  Sunny Hill Cemetery in Savannah with Jimmy Wallace officiating.
