John William Welch, 63, of Savannah, died on Friday, Oct. 21, in Jackson, Tennesee.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Alva and Carrie Welch.
Mr. Welch was a retired supervisor for ADS, a drainage pipe manufacturer. He attended Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Ralston of Rockvale, Tennessee and Helen Bain of Savannah; two brothers, Alva Welch of Snow Hill, North Carolina and Garry Welch of Savannah; and two nieces and four nephews.
Services were held on Monday, Oct. 24, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jason Estes officiating, with burial in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
