Bertha Hindman (10-8-16) service 10-11-16

Bertha Dee Ganus Hindman, 91, of Michie, died on Saturday, October 8.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late William Ganus and Elzie Mae Milligan Webb.  She was united in marriage to Odes Webster Hindmon, who survived his wife at that time.
Mrs. Hindman retired from Pickwick Landing State Park where she was a housekeeper.  She was of Pentecostal belief.
She was survived by her husband of 69 years, Webster Hindmon of Michie (who died the following day, Oct. 9, 2016). She is survived by her children, William Monroe Sagely of Tishomingo, Mississippi, Mary Jane Shook of Michie, Odes Webster Hindman Jr. of Tishomingo, Mississippi, Vonnie Lee Pounders of Iuka, Mississippi, and Margaret Louella Wolfe of Fayetteville, Tennessee; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Christina Hindman Edwards; brother, W.R. Ganus; sister, Birdie Mae Willcutt; one grandson; and stepfather, Tom E. Webb.
Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Shiloh with Ray Chandler and Richard Haley officiating. Burial followed in Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh.
