Lloyd O’Neal Paulk (9-5-16) service 9-8-16

Lloyd O’Neal Paulk was born on July 11, 1936, at Savannah, the son of Charlie Elvin and Mary Pearl Hubbard Paulk.
He passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Elvin, Raymond, Marvin and Buddy.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Bowers Paulk whom he was united in marriage to on Feb. 16, 1957 in Corinth, Mississippi; one son, Eddie Paulk of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Beverly (Ronnie) Gifford of Fredericktown, Missouri; one brother, Leonard Paulk of Savannah; three grandchildren, Lauren Paulk of Brooklyn, New York, Emily Paulk of Chesterfield, Missouri and Tyler Gifford of Fredericktown, Missouri; and one great-grandchild, Charlie Stegmann of Chesterfield, Missouri.
Lloyd worked for Brown Shoe Company starting in 1955. He worked his way up from laborer to superintendent. He worked at Humboldt, Leachville and Fredericktown plants. He was then promoted to the St. Louis office as assistant general superintendent where he retired in 1988. He then worked as supervisor at the 3-R Center from 1994-2002. Lloyd loved golfing, yardwork and playing cards at the Elks Lodge.
Pallbearers were Brian Griffon, Tim Paumen, Steve Tidwell, Ronnie Gifford and Tyler Gifford.
Services were held on Thursday, Sept. 8, at Marcus Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Michael officiating.
