Bennie J. Cromwell (9-13-16) service 9-15-16

Bennie J. Cromwell, 75, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Will and Ruth Phillips Cromwell. He was united in marriage to Yvonda Lou Turnbow, who survives.
Mr. Cromwell had worked for Brown Shoe Company for 34 years, Praxis, and the Hardin County Board of Education in maintenance and as a bus driver.  He was a member of River Heights Pentecostal Church, a Mason, and a Scottish Rite.
In addition to his wife Yvonda Lou Cromwell of Savannah, he is survived by his son, Benny Wayne Cromwell of Savannah; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Smith of Savannah and Dorothy Putman of Georgia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lou Ann Cromwell; and brothers, Danny and Bill Cromwell.
Services were held on Thursday, Sept. 15, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with William Duke officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
